Jean-Baptiste Barriére

Jean-Baptiste Barriére is a composer of computer music and media installations.

His media work has been shown at Festival Ars Electronica in Linz, International Festival of New York, Vidéothèque de Paris, and as a televirtuality piece between the Cité des Sciences in Paris and India. His awards and commissions include the Prix de la Musique Numérique of the Concours International de Musique Electroacoustique of Bourges, Contemporary Museum of Zurich. He has been active in musical research at IRCAM, at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki

Barriére lives and works in Paris.
