He has worked variously as an artistic collaborator, audio engineer, and producer. Miller has worked with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Joan La Barbara, David Behrman, Steina Vasulka, David Dunn, David Hykes, Gamelan Pacifica, The Seattle City Gamelan, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Bill Frisell, and Wayne Horwitz. Miller studied traditional and new music for gamelan in Indonesia as a Fulbright Scholar. His music has been performed at the International Festival of Electroacoustic Music in Havana, ISEA / Montreal, and New Music Across America and broadcast from radio stations throughout North and South America, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Miller lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He teaches at The College of Santa Fe, produces the Santa Fe International Festival of Electro-Acoustic Music, and co-directs the Santa Fe World Music Institute. |
