A performer and composer of electronic and instrumental music Hans Tutschku has composed music for theater, film, ballet, live electronics, and multi-media. He has worked with choreographer Joachim Schlsmer and with the Ensemble fur Intuitive Musik Weimar, with which he has realized several multimedia productions, conceiving projected images and choreography for dance, as well as the music, and given numerous concerts in Europe, Latin America and Asia. He is co-founder of the Klang Projekte Weimar, a foundation for contemporary music which produces an annual festival and a concert series. He has given master classes at the University of Sao Paulo, University of Singapore, and Music Academy in Budapest. His prizes include Bourges, CIMESP Sao Paulo, Prix Noroit, Prix Ars Electronica, and Hanns-Eisler-Preis des Deutschlandsenders Kultur Berlin. Tutschku currently lives in Paris and teaches at IRCAM. |
