Richard Boulanger

"For me, music is a medium through which the inner spiritual essence of all things is revealed and shared."

Richard Boulanger composes and performs computer music. He is also an educator and a synthesizer and software consultant.

His awards and honors include a Fulbright, Meet The Composer grants, Newcomp International Computer Music Competition (1st Prize) ... Collaborators have included Barry Vercoe and Max Mathews; He has composed extensively for Mathews' Radio Baton and performed his music in Moscow, Japan, Canada, throughout Eastern and Western Europe, and across the United States. He is author of The Csound Book.

Boulanger works in Boston as professor at the Berklee College of Music.
