Suzanne Ciani

Suzanne Ciani is a composer and recording artist of electronic music and sound design. Her work spans a broad array of expressive media, including electronic sounds, solo piano, piano with orchestra, and piano with jazz ensemble. Her music, with its romantic, healing, and aesthetic qualities, has found a growing international audience. She often performs benefits for humanitarian causes.

Ciani has produced eleven albums of original music. In the 1980s and early 1990s, her New York-based commercial production company, Ciani-Musica, Inc., was a leader in the field of sound design and TV spot scoring, creating award-winning music for a host of high profile Fortune 500 clients, including Coca-Cola, Merrill Lynch, AT&T, and General Electric. Ciani scored the Lily Tomlin feature, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Mother Teresa, and the TV daytime serial One Life to Live. Ciani has toured throughout the United States, Italy, Spain, and Asia, and she has received five Grammy nominations for Best New Age Album, an Indie nomination for Best New Age Album, numerous Clios, a Golden Globe, Keyboard Magazine's New Age Keyboardist of the Year ...

Ciani currently resides in Northern California.
