Ken Field is an award winning composer of music for animation, film, and video. His music integrates jazz, ambient, hiphop, minimalism, swing, acid, improv, Balkan ...

Collaborators have included British video director John Adams, west coast choreographer Annie Loui, and Boston animator Karen Aqua. His soundtrack work has been broadcast on HBO, The Movie Channel, and PBS ... He has recorded with Peter Wolf and Willie Loco Alexander, and has been composer-in-residence at the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming.

Field is an active composer and a member of the ensemble Birdsongs of the Mesozoic.
