Ivar Frounberg
Ivar Frounberg has composed works for orchestra, chamber ensemble, live electronics, and acoustical instruments and computer.
Recent performances of Frounberg's works include Wien Modern (Austria), Musicora (Paris), Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal (Berlin), 34. Internationale Kulturtage der Stadt Dortmund (Germany), and 4th Composer's Biennale (Copenhagen). He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Prize in Honour of the Composer Carl Nielsen.
Frounberg lives in Copenhagen and teaches at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. He is active in the Danish musical scene.
