His awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, ISCM Electronic Music Award, American Academy / Institute of Arts and Letters, National Endowment for the Arts ... His commissions include the Koussevitsky Foundation, Fromm Foundation, Sonic Arts Network Commission ... His essays have been published in Perspectives of New Music, Journal of Music Theory, Computer Music Journal ... As software designer, he wrote MIX, Cmix, RT ... He is currently professor at Princeton University.
