![]() Phill Niblock Phill Niblock is an intermedia artist whose work includes music, film, photography, video, and computers. His multi-layered installations and performances present simultaneous events in film and music, slides and video. Niblock's works have been performed at The Museum of Modern Art (New York), The Kitchen, Paris Autumn Festival, Palais des Beaux Arts (Brussels), Institute of Contemporary Art (London), Akademie der Kunste (Berlin), Interpretations (New York) ... and on radio in the US, West Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, and Belgium. His awards include the Guggenheim Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Artists Public Service Program, City University of New York Research Foundation, Foundation for the Contemporary Performance Arts ... Since 1973, he has produced more than 1,000 performances of music and intermedia at Experimental Intermedia Foundation in New York City. Phill Niblock is based in New York City.
