John Palmer
John Palmer is a composer of instrumental and electronic music.
He has received awards and honors from the Cornelius Cardew Competition (England), Lucerne Cultural Prize (Switzerland), Bourges International Competition for Electroacoustic Music, City of Klagenfurt International Composition Prize (Austria), 1st Tokyo International Competition for Chamber Music Composition ... His music has been performed at the British Society for Promotion of New Music, SEAMUS (Dartmouth), International Society of Contemporary Music (Bulgaria), Sonic Arts Network , KlangArt Congress for Music Technology, University of Hertfordshire (UK) ... From 1987 to 1989 John Palmer was director of the Society of New Music Lucerne which involved the management, promotion and production of contemporary music.
He currently lives and teaches in Germany.
