The Theremin Center in Moscow, founded in 1992 by Andrei Smirnov and associates, has become the hub of many interesting projects and collaborations, some of them represented by the music on this CD. The title composition 'Mrs. Lenin' is a collaboration in several dimensions. Its three composers were Aleksander Ponomariov, Valery Beluntsov, and Andrei Smirnov. The Moscow Radio, the Odd-and-Even Theatre (Moscow), and the Bregman Studio at Dartmouth College (USA) were involved in its production. And it was based on a poem by the futurist poet Velimir Khlebnikov (1885-1922). There are also compositions by Sergey Kossenko, Albina Stoyanova, Jorge Campos, Vladimir Nikolaev.
